The Benefits of Meditation

The Benefits of Meditation

When the founders of COSE chose the name: “Church Of Spiritual Enlightenment”, this reflected the purpose for which it was established, and that was to provide a Sanctuary which would bring guidance and healing for those who sought to understand their spiritual nature and their own divine essence. A Sanctuary which would guide people on their Path of Spiritual Unfoldment. The journey towards “Enlightenment” is a personal unfoldment. Although an individual may have access to wise teachings, techniques and spiritual disciplines, it is actually the journey Inwards that guides One to be attuned with the Divine Indweller and Christ Within. Spiritual teachers are Way Show-ers, but only the Individual can come into their own Divine Presence and Oneness with the Divine Indweller. The teachings of Jesus guided the people to the God Within. David Watson talks...On Spiritual Healing.

David Watson talks…On Spiritual Healing.

Any physics textbook will tell you energy is “the capacity to do work”. Then it usually goes on to explain that “work” is the action of moving something against a force. But isn’t this definition kind of unsatisfying? It’s a bit like Plato’s definition of man as a “featherless biped” – it’s hard to poke holes in the reasoning, but you can’t help but feel something is missing. As the Russian physicist Lev Okun said, “The more basic is a physical notion, the more difficult to define it in words.” For energy, the best we can do is say it’s the capacity to cause movement. And that my fellow Spiritual travellers, should do us poor featherless bipeds just fine…Now… Spiritual energy is fundamental in the healing we facilitate This featherless biped, your writer enjoys the mysteries of collective nouns…you know… A pride...

Angel Connections

Angel Connections

Everyone has Guides and Angels who are always close by, working and walking alongside you lovingly. The more we attune with, communicate and recognise our Angel Helpers, the more we are strengthening our connection. Not only are you strengthening your connection and communication, you are also deepening your Oneness with Source and your Higher Self. Most people are not able to see or hear Angels because the vibration of the Angelic Realm is at a much higher frequency than our own. You may however, learn to see, hear and sense Angels. It is easier to connect with Angels when your frequency is high. Our frequency is naturally high when we are in states of joy, openheartedness and positivity. We are also able to heighten our vibrations through spiritual practices, such as healing, sacred circle work and also love and light service...

SPIRITUAL NAMING CEREMONY

SPIRITUAL NAMING CEREMONY

At some time before the ceremony the Minister receives from Source the Spiritual name for the canditate either through meditation or inspiration. Names received by the Minister are also referenced in the bible. The name has a spiritual meaning as well as representing particular qualities, strengths, and virtues. Every name carries a certain vibration which assists in challenges and encourages the individual to work towards spiritual growth and live in their highest consciousness. The name also reflects the inner self of who you truly are, not the personality of the outer character. A naming Ceremony is a unique way to leave old baggage behind and open one’s path in a whole new perspective and to recognise one’s own Divinity.
